The current Cloud builder lets you select individual features or start with a Start or Pro bundle. It shows feature prices, required dependencies, page quantity and any applicable bundle discount. Your dashboard remains the source of truth for the capabilities and limits active on an existing account. New checkout is available only when the Build page enables it.
An active subscription includes the features you selected, whether you started with a bundle or built your own plan. A feature can be absent from an active plan. The Console distinguishes a feature that is not included, access that has expired, and setup that is still required.
Dashboard → Settings → Billing shows what this account has, what each piece costs, the next invoice date, and the controls to change any of it. Owners and admins can change the subscription.
The trial
A new account starts a 14-day trial of released Cloud features, with no card required. Features still being built or awaiting release are excluded. The dashboard shows the end date. During the trial a few allowances are smaller than a paid account's, such as the number of confirmed subscribers, so a trial cannot be used as a free tier. When it ends, the account keeps the features you bought. Without a paid subscription, Free continues three HTTP, TCP or DNS monitors at five-minute intervals, with one Slack channel and one public page on your InBrief subdomain. That page shows up to 10 components and 30 days of history. Extra monitors, additional pages and paid features stop running; their configuration remains available for an upgrade. A custom-domain connection stops serving the page, while its settings are retained.
What each capability costs
New subscriptions use the 8 September 2026 catalog: the status-page base is $1 multiplied by the page factor, and Monitoring includes 10 monitors for $3 before page scaling or a bundle discount. Pro includes its listed 100-monitor allowance. Existing subscriptions keep the catalog version and allowances they purchased, including the 5 September catalog and the earlier 25-monitor allowance. Changes to an existing subscription use its original catalog. A confirmed plan change shows its new total before it takes effect; publishing a catalog does not reprice existing subscriptions.
Prices are monthly. Most page-scoped features use the page multiplier below; Database Health uses the paid page quantity directly. Account-scoped features are charged once. Some capabilities need a foundation: a public status page needs incidents or monitoring to have something to show, branding needs a page to brand. Choosing a capability adds what it depends on automatically, so you cannot buy a feature that has nothing to attach to.

Bundles are editable
Start and Pro select a bundle of features. You can add or remove features afterwards. The calculator applies a bundle discount when the selection contains the bundle's required features and the page quantity is within its included allowance. Additional features are priced separately. Removing a required feature or exceeding the included page quantity can remove the discount, so review the new total before confirming a change.
More than one status page
Most page-scoped features use the factor below. Database Health instead costs $3 per paid status page per month, multiplied by the selected paid page quantity. Account-scoped features are charged once. Review the selected page quantity and any applicable plan discount before checkout.

Paying
Checkout and invoices are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, which also collects the tax that applies where you are. InBrief never sees or stores your card. Invoices and receipts are in the Paddle portal linked from the Billing screen.
Changing and cancelling
Adding a capability takes effect immediately and is charged pro rata. Removing one takes effect at the end of the current period; the screen shows the date. Cancelling the subscription works the same way: the account keeps its selected features until the period ends, and you can undo the cancellation from the same screen until then.
When a subscription has lapsed, nothing you wrote is deleted. Monitoring continues within the Free allowance. The custom domain stops serving and the InBrief address takes over, and the console becomes read-only for the parts that need a capability you no longer have. Buying again picks up where you left off. Deleting the account is a separate, explicit action under Settings → Account, and that one does remove everything.
